COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
SpaceChain at the Creative Destruction Lab
SpaceChain has been selected to participate in the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) — a seed-stage program for massively scalable, science-based companies. Launched in 2012, the program employs an objectives-based mentoring process with the goal of maximizing equity-value creation. Some of the mentors include Christine Tovee, a technology leader in aerospace and innovation, and James Bergstra, a lab scientist focused on Machine Learning.
On Oct 22, CEO Zee Zheng was in Toronto to attend the first CDL session. It was an intensive full-day program which involved meeting with mentors to access objectives relating to technology validation, learn opportunities to raise captial, and fine-tune strategies.
“It is an honour to be selected for this program. It was an extremely fruitful session as I met with CDL fellows and associates who provided insightful feedback and advice,” said Zee.

TECHNICAL PROGRESS
Blockchain node in space
- SpaceChain server migration
This week, the technical team started to migrate the SpaceChain server from the local testing environment to the Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Since the SpaceChain server will be on AWS once the space node is launched in space, our technical team needs to migrate the server to AWS before the launch. The server migration is currently in process. The team will use virtual space nodes to test the server status once the migration is finished.
Check out our weekly report every Monday for SpaceChain’s latest news and progress.
